Viktor Marsai, research director of the Migration Research Institute, told M1 TV that although, according to official figures the number of confirmed infections has now reached one million on the African continent, the real number may be much higher: in the Republic of South Africa alone, 17.000 more deaths occured this year than in the same period last year.
