Mr. Balázs Orban, the Director General of the Migration Research Institute, participated at a conference in Budapest. At the conference, entitled ’An Occasional Alliance or a New Power in Europe?’, he said that migration policy was not the cause but the outcome of collaboration among the Visegrád countries. Migration is primarily driven by geopolitical factors and the Visegrad cooperation is built on a permanent alliance.
