The British say the time left until 31 December 2020 will be enough, while in EU’s opinion it will not be enough for the two sides to conclude a free trade agreement. In principle, the deadline could be extended if a consensus decision is reached by 30 June, but the extension is not supported by the United Kingdom, said Norbert Tóth, senior researcher at the Migration Research Institute and international lawyer on Kossuth Radio.
