In poorer regions, the biggest problem is not the health impacts of COVID-19, rather the economic setbacks and damages which put the livelihoods of millions of people at risk. It is obvious that if they are left without income,this will aggravate their prospects. Precisely such factors play an important role when people make migration decisions, told Szabolcs Janik, deputy director of the Migration Research Institute, to the Magyar Nemzet.
