New masses of people can leave Central America for the United States

Joe Biden wants to grant U.S. citizenship to about 11 million people who have either entered the United States illegally or are still in the country after their visas have expired. The president’s more liberal immigration policy could be attractive to Latin Americans, therefore new masses of people could leave for example Honduras, Guatemala or El Salvador, said Klaudia Tóth, researcher of the Migration Research Institute, on Kossuth Radio.
