Non-western immigrants of Scandinavia have a higher incidence of coronavirus disease than their ratio in the local population. This phenomenon can be partly explained by their culture, which is characterized by distrust towards authorities and rigid compliance to community norms and religious rules even if it constitutes a misdemeanor offence – said Emese Kovács, researcher of Migration Research Institute on Karc FM radio.
