Morocco, a country of 33 million, currently has 700 000 sub-Saharans of various legal statuses. A significant part of this mass would be heading towards Europe. In our lifetime, migration exploded in 2015, in Spain it was already happening in the 1990s. That is when the agreements with the Moroccan government were signed, which effectively protect Morocco from migration to Europe.
