Greece has been in a difficult situation since 2015, because its care system has been unable to keep up with the constant demand from immigrants and asylum seekers. A potential catastrophe has been hanging over our heads for a while, we just did not know exactly what it would be, when and where it would happen — said Szabolcs Janik, deputy director of the Migration Research Institute, on Kossuth Radio.
