Annamária Simon has graduated from Albert Vetési High School, where she attended a Hungarian – Spanish dual language program. In 2007, she obtained her degree in Security and Defense Policy (BSc.), and currently she is studying International Security and Defense Policy (MA) at the National University of Public Service. During her university studies, she participated at many Scientific Students’ Association events and got awarded for her works. Both in 2017 and 2018, Annamária won a scholarship (ÚNKP) and started her relating research focusing on the East-African region and on Hungarian – African foreign relations. Apart from being head of secretary at MRI, she works as a junior researcher. Her main field of research covers security and defense policy issues in Africa.
