Meszár Tárik

He began his university studies at the Faculty of Arts of Eötvös Loránd University, majoring in Oriental Languages ​​and Cultures, with a minor in Aesthetics. During his undergraduate education, he gained in-depth knowledge of the Arabic language as well as the Islamic world and civilization. In 2016, he was admitted to the master’s degree program in Arabic studies at the Eötvös Loránd University, where he graduated in 2019 with a state honors degree. During the university, he also worked as an interpreter expert on behalf of the Hungarian Armed Forces and the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Police Headquarters. Since September 2020, he has been a PhD student of the Arabic Studies program of the Doctoral School of Linguistics at Eötvös Loránd University. From March 2021 he is a researcher at the Eurasia Center of John von Neumann University, and from September 2021 he is a participant in the Mathias Corvinus Collegium PhD Program and a researcher at the Migration Research Institute, where he studies the situation of ethnic and religious minorities in the Middle East, mainly Iraq and Egypt. He also deals with the Arabic language and its dialects, as well as the international relations of the Arab world and its role in the world economy.
